ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY AT P.P.H.U. EFEKT S.K.

P.P.H.U. EFEKT Spółka Komandytowa Janusz Frąckowiak i s-ka conducts its business in accordance with the sustainable development policy, which assumes conscious and appropriately shaped relations between economic growth, care for the natural environment and human health.

Aware of the impact of our activities on the natural environment, we operate in an environmentally friendly manner, implementing processes aimed at continuous improvement of methods to prevent negative effects on the environment. One of the elements of the company’s business strategy is the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System, part of which is environmental management in accordance with the ISO 14001:2015-09 standard. We are constantly improving our Integrated Management System by following progress in science and technology and applying their latest achievements in our business activities, including in the environmental field.

We undertake to comply with legal requirements and other environmental regulations applicable to our business activities. We also take actions to stop any possible negative impact that any aspect of our activities may have on the natural environment.

1. In order to implement this policy, we pursue the following strategic goals:
   • eliminating the risk of environmental failures through constant monitoring of machines, devices and installations,
   • optimization of the use of raw materials and consumables as well as materials intended for production,
   • implementation of appropriate, selective waste management,
   • minimizing the amount of pollutants emitted into the air,
   • optimization of energy consumption,
   • responsible management of hazardous waste and protection against its leakage.
2. We implement the company’s environmental policy in particular through:
   • the use of raw materials and technologies proven in terms of safety for people and the environment in production processes,
   • activities aimed at protecting natural resources by reducing the consumption of paper, electricity and fuels,
   • improvement of technological processes, investments and modernization of equipment aimed at reducing the harmful impact on the environment and optimizing the use of raw materials.

We promote and systematically provide information on environmental protection to all employees, motivating them to pro-ecological behavior. We also involve our suppliers and business partners in these processes. Management staff at all levels of the company’s management are actively involved in the implementation of strategic environmental goals and monitor the level of their implementation. We believe that our actions will contribute to maintaining natural balance and the sustainability of basic natural processes, ensuring the ability to meet the needs of citizens, both of the modern world and of our future generations.
